KIDS & ADULT PROGRAM
The training, discipline, and guidance my boys are receiving at the hands of this Kenpo family is manifesting in their lives as self-confidence and bravery. They are challenged during class, but the environment is such that they are surrounded by loving and encouraging instructors. Overcoming challenges in class leads to confidence in overcoming daily challenges. There is no ridicule – it isn’t tolerated. There is only firm guidance and patience. We are incredibly grateful to have found this school, and I think every child should have access to these gifts. -Cynthia, Jareth, and Charles
I love Summer Camp. It makes me feel strong and flexible. Every week I learn a lot of new things. – Sarah Parkes 6 years old
I love to watch my grandkids doing Kenpo 5.0 and sometimes cannot believe how much they have learned. My little grandkids are doing all this complicated moves and trying to learn new stuff so they can get a higher belt. I am so proud of them and so thankful to the Potter team for being patient instructors and teach the kids how to persevere and reach their goals.
I like kenpo because it helps me with my bully in school. Thank you Mr and Mrs Potter for teaching me kenpo. – Aris 9 years old This martial arts school is absolutely amazing. I have seen my meek and mild child Aris turn into this very confident young woman in a blink of an eye. I would recommend this school to anyone. – Fiona R

I was nervous about being 40 years old and overweight. I didn’t think I could do Karate, but the instructors and fellow students gave me confidence and made what seemed impossible possible. Three years later, I am a second degree brown belt and will be testing in Vegas this year for my third degree brown. If I can do it, you can do it. – Gary Barela
The Potter Family is amazing. They have made our family a part of theirs. My husband, daughter, and myself are all students. Karate has improved our health, confidence, physical and emotional strength, and it’s something our whole family does together. – Sylvia Barela
As someone who has trained across America, and regularly across the state of New Mexico, the Potter’s school in Santa Fe has to be one of the best, and they have created a sincere, and welcoming environment. Not to mention the level of detail, professionalism, and expertise from both students and instructors is astronomical. Absolutely top notch. – Derek Wheat
We all love training with the Potters in the 5.0 system. The family atmosphere makes it that much better. I have made wonderful friends. I have lost weight and gotten stronger and more confident. Kenpo has helped my youngest child to learn self control and confidence. It has helped my middle son to be confident and believe in himself. I hope to continue to grow as a martial artist and train with the Potter family and the whole Jeff Speakman 5.0 system for many more years. – Geraldine Chavez
Our family started our Kenpo journey hoping to learn some self defense and get some exercise. What we received was so much more. We love the art and we learned so much about ourselves and who we want to be. It’s great to be a part of this wonderful Kenpo family and community who care about one another. – Melinda Ramirez
My birthday party at my Kenpo school was amazing. I was so happy when I was able to pop a balloon with my punch and cutting the cake with the samurai sword “I will never forget “.
To Mr. And Mrs. Potter and Mr. VIGIL
My nephews joined the after school program at Jeff Speakman Kenpo 5.0 Santa Fe. My sister who I love dearly signed them up. She told me that I needed to see their belt test. As soon as I saw what my nephews were doing, how Erica and Tony Potter interacted with them and the community I knew there was magic there. I joined shortly after and since have learned to control my ego, manage my strengths and work on my limitations. Mr., Mrs. Potter and Mr. VIGIL will nurture your courage with kindness! I salute you all and the entire Kenpo 5.0 coummunity. I hope to punch you soon. – Sam
